Description: This report includes a summary of youth mental health (MH) services provided for the North Sound BHO region of Washington State. This report includes the total number and percent of youth services that qualified as being Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs). EBP were determined from encounters with a valid EBP Current Procedural Terminology code. The change in EBPs provided compared to the previous quarter is shown in the table. The percent of qualifying EBP services over time is shown in a graph with a comparison to the Washington State average for each quarter. A summary for individual providers within this region is also shown for the current quarter.

Data was extracted by the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA)/ Research and Data Analysis' (RDA) and may not reflect all services provided for a given BHO region or individual provider. Provider-level EBP data is shown in Table 2, Table 3, and Table 4 with reflections on data accuracy assessment.

Values of total youth services and total EBP youth services provided are from Q1 2019. EBPI reached out to clinical directors who oversee evidence-based practices to assess the accuracy of provider-level EBP data collected in a past quarter (Q2 2018). We asked how accurate the state EBP data from this reporting period was, compared to their reported use of EBPs. Agencies responded to the data accuracy survey with one of the three options: “very accurate," “a little accurate," or “not accurate."

Note: Feedback on accuracy relied on agency self-report. We did not conduct validation by reviewing administrative data.
